About this Breeding:
This very special puppy was whelped on September 13, 2021 and is out of our co-owned Pixel (Dare/Spryte, bred by us) and our talented Player. This breeding had been planned for quite some time and after a missed breeding on the first attempt, we were thankful to have a perfect little singleton on the second and final attempt.
Given the litter name nickname of "Ten" (short for Singleton), we knew this puppy would be destined for greatness! So far he has been a perfect "10" and has been renamed "Zing!" and has stayed with us. Our long awaited Player son as we hadn't used Player in our own program since 2016, Zing! is also a second generation O'my! bred puppy and we are so excited for him.
When we did this breeding knowing it would most likely be Player's last natural breeding, I jokingly told Player that I'd like a gold male, marked just like him, with his same larger than life personality, work ethic, his brain, and would make me laugh like he does......basically just clone himelf, but this time, genetically not a merle (LOL). Never in our wildest dreams did we think that in a singleton breeding, we would get exactly what we ordered hence the registered name for Zing! being “O'my! Well Played”. Player has always been called Mr. Perfect and once again reminded me that he still is very much that. I am so very thankful for this gift that Player and Pixel cooked up for me.
At now 15 months of age, Zing! is seriously everything I could have wanted and more. His work ethic is impeccable, his athleticism is effortless, and his brain is practically his fathers. The things he just magically knows and understands the moment I show it is so eerie and cool at the same time. Working with him and running with him now at the start of his agility career is like running with his father an entire decade later. I am very much looking forward to our future together in dog sports.
Zing! is DNA Normal for the Optimal Selection Panel, Normal for BCG (Gensol), OFA Hips Preliminary Excellent and OFA Shoulders Normal. His final OFA's will be done Fall 2023.
