Meet Sequel!
Sequel is a handsome red male from our only breeding of GCH CH “Wish” RN OA OAJ NF DS DJ TKN CGC to our AKC MJR PTD "HotShot" RE AX AXJ MXP MJP OF SCN DCAT CA FMX FDCH DS TKI CGC. This breeding produced 4 wonderful puppies and you can read more about them by clicking here.
Sequel is an outgoing, bold, friendly, confident and engaging dog. He is a natural swimmer like those in his family tree and he got his CGC and TKN titles just before he was 10 weeks of age. He is such a quick study! At 6 months of age, Sequel was quickly excelling in all of his foundations in agility, rally, and search and rescue. He has tremendous work ethic and drive while keeping a clear head while in drive. He progressed very quickly in his SAR training and went for his official certification at 9 months old. Sequel and his owner passed with flying colors and is now an official SAR dog, known as K9 Sequel! He earned his RN with high scores at his first trial as well as a leg in Obedience. He finished his BN shortly after, and is now working on his high level titles in Rally.
Fast forward to 3 years of age and Sequel is proving to be quite the versatile dog we thought he would be. He is a BIG boy, and is lovingly referred to as “Big Red”. An asset to his Search and Rescue team, he is also working towards his MACH, RACH, and CH while also competing in obedience, fly ball and dock diving. He is flashy and driven all while maintaining a level head and composure while working. He is a good jumper in agility and covers ground effortless (which also allows for him to clear several acres in only minutes in SAR).
At the 2024 AKC Rally National Championship, Sequel places 6th in the Excellent class amongst strong competition, earning an impressive score of 296/300. He is an excellent teammate across the board, constantly rising to the occasion and challenge and I'm really excited to watch Sequel and Savanna, Team Big Red!, continue on their journey together.
